8. Evidence of community outreach










REFLECTION

Araling Panlipunan department had a community outreach held in the Tahanang Mapagpala ni Immaculada Concepcion in Bulihan, City of Malolos, Bulacan last October 28, 2017. It is the “Linggo ng Katandaang Pilipino” Calumpit National High School – Feeding and gift giving. Wherein the Araling Panlipunan are in-charge together with the Araling Panlipunan Club, the Supreme Student Government and the Student teacher in Araling Panlipunan.

Im so glad because I experienced that kind of community outreach wherein many elders become happy to the things that they give to them. One of the SSG member sing a song and teachers, ST and the students perform the “Dahil Sayo” and “Baby Shark” in the simple way of doing that kind of performance I can see that they appreciate what we do in front. I’m so lucky because I had an opportunity to join that kind of this outreach.

My tears fallen because they are elders but they don’t have a family. I am very thankful to the “Tahanang Mapagpala ni Immaculada Concepcion” to take care of the elders.

Prayer of a student teacher  Lord, thank you for this day That you allow us to have new learnings. Always guide my students in the right path. Enable me to teach with wisdom so that I could share my knowledge to them. Save us from any harm while we are in the process of learning. We pray this to you Lord, In the name of Jesus. Amen! Credo  I believe that a teacher must have a patience, passion and understanding. We all know that in the new generation many students are very stubborn, sometimes they are not listening to the teacher while discussing in front of the class. 6. A brief description of the site of practice teaching

History of Calumpit National High School  Calumpit National High School  REFLECTION Calumpit National High School for me is one of the schools in Calumpit that have a quality education. The reason why I choose Calumpit National High School as my cooperating school is because it can help me to give more knowledge in my practice teaching and also to become a better educator in the future. In Calumpit National High School, when I was a student there some facilities are not available. But we all know that everything has changed. There was an improvement like many two-story buildings, the audio visual room and many more. When I was a high school student there I think that school has only one computer room but now there are 2 computer rooms. The school has a good environment and it is clean, the ambiance of the school is also good. The students is also comfortable because for example in their rooms there are 35-40 students only. So
